Hello, my name is Lawson and I'm a multimedia artist and animator who works outside the traditional gallery setting in an improvisational and experimental way. I create art that brings myself and other people joy. In my work, I often depict organisms and the environments and explore the intersection between natural and urban environments. I'm also interested in themes of deep time and different forms of evolution and the patterns that emerge throughout time. I create art in order to better understand myself, by creating something that I find meaningful and beautiful then others will also be able to find a little bit of peace and happiness from my art.
